Tiny rivets

I am transforming an old, wrong-turning speedo drive into a right-turning one, using the innards of a post war one that was used on my Triumph '21' .
But now I need those tine rivets, about 1.6mm with sunken head. Yes, they are available, 1000 in a packet, sufficient for 250 speedo drives, but I only need four
Anyone

Re: Tiny rivets

Hans,

Those places usually only have aluminium rivets, but you could try, there's a good one in Barneveld. I have a lot of countersunk alu. rivets too here, all ex british airplane stuff.

Have an M20 rear stand from Ron for you here, will drop it off when I'm near.

Cheers,

Lex

Re: Tiny rivets

I have a box FULL of all types and sizes of rivets, brass, steel, alloy, etc............mostly all ex-WD NOS.............there are some very small rivets in there from memory........

Just need to remember where I put the box !

Re: Tiny rivets

I just use cutoff flatheaded nails.
