Do you recognise this cable?

A friend asked me if I knew what this cable is from... Don't have a clue (definitely not Norton!).
Can anybody help?

Ha Ha! Bill White! He's asked me the same question and I've asked it on HMVF forum "British Vehicles"........With no response so far. I don't think it's for any WW2 motorcycle. I think that is a NATO number. Ron
