Info Pressure valve in timing cover.

Hi to all.
Please it is possible to know the exact size of the spring that is inserted into the timing cover of the BSA M20

Hi Barry...The free length of the spring is 7/8".

Outside diameter..3/16".

The spring wire gauge is...I.W.G 28 (Imperial Wire Gauge 0.0148" dia.).

Number of coils..21, with the ends ground square after forming..

You can get a ball and spring kit from C&D Autos for a couple of quid...Ian
