Finally a man who appreciates a Norton 16H for its value :-)

Well all of you non Norton jockeys,

This man really appreciates the unique qualities of the Unapproachable Norton over all other brands.
Like a Rembrand, the better they are the more you pay!

What a bullocks story and what an idiotic price requested.

These things make me more and more uncertain about leaving my bike on the street.
Instead of the old iron price which they are really worth, they become items to steal. Its an trend going on for decennia now but this one really does it in a faboulous way.

If anybody is paying such prices I can only say "what a fool" and apprently no cash flow critial person.

Non-restored, original and from Normandy? my ass

Metric bolts, fake engine number (crankcase ground, even the bore and stroke are removed).
On the plus side, the contract plate C12426 shows original black paint in the upper two quarters and light coloured letters. That could be worth some money!

From Normandy???? Totally not to be proven unless the guy who owned it lives in Normandy and can prove how he got it in Normandy in 1945/46 or such???? Nonsense story to drive up prices I assume.

Even if the Normandy link would be true, so what?
Put ten bikes a row and find it?
Trivial info, but apparently people dig it to have something to tell or so.
Does not do it for me at all, but its to each individual what he does with it.

Pfff

Where are we going to?

Cheers,

Rob
