Some rivet counter assistance please - can anyone identify when the following changes took place in production
It has a bearing on my new project & final spec to build to
1/ when were rubber mounted handlebars replaced by the more commonly found solid type
2/ when were rubber mounted footrests replaced by the checker plate style metal foot rests
3/ when was the front brake rod replaced by a normal cable
4/ when was the speedo drive on the brake plate moved to the near side (left) of the front wheel
5/ when was the 8" headlight replaced by the 6 1/2" headlight
I have a good idea of when many of these changes took place - but am hoping someone nay have frame or contract details of a more or precise timing of change in production. It seems from what I can make out, most of these took place over time and were not implemented in one hit
