Today we visited the grave of Don Fife for the annual remembrance.

Like every year Hans had taken the effort to buy flowers and to make a remembrance shield he has placed on the grave.

Today, and the foresight of many more events makes you realise again (and again) that our freedom is very valuable. Many young boys like Don paid the ultimate price for this. Lest we forget..

Well done gentlemen. I'm sure that the Fife Family is very appreciative of your taking the time to honor Donald and to reflect upon his ultimate sacrifice.

Seems hard to believe that it has been almost three years since Sam Cormier and I went to visit the Fifes to present them the memorial plaque while at the same time many of you were at Juno Beach and Fresney-le Puceux.
