ML owners - you may or may not have realised it, but the "vacant" hole in the top of the right-side fork blade/side is for the headlamp wiring cable clip.........
According to the parts list, this is a simple round steel clip, slotted, that supports the "wiring harness" emerging from the head-light...........
In fairness though, the "harness" comprises two cables only........one to the magneto and the other to the tail-lamp........although both were encased in thin-walled rubber tubing...............
Clips are generally missing, but looks to have been attached by a 1/4" pin and nut...........
Remainder of "wiring harness" (and clutch/throttle cable) secured beneath the tank to the frame top-tube by a pair of aluminium pliable strips.............tail-lamp cable secured to the right-side of rear mudguard by 4 x "Terry" type sprung steel clips spaced evenly...............
