My sons cush drive came loose and I will fit a new cush drive spring as it is very weak. The cush drive has a thin washer that you bend the tabs on to hold the spring in place part 65-6521 and then on the end, cush drive bearing nut 65-2520. I dont think we used loctite to hold the later on which we will next time. My question is does the bearing nut have a lock washer to hold it tight as I seem to recall a ring that needed a C spanner to tighten it? I could be confused with a different bike.
