I'm looking for expert advice on the MCR2 regulator. I think I understand exactly how it works in principle (and why it doesn't). But I'm trying to develop a simplified diagram/schematic and I really need an expert to straighten out the kinks in my thinking.
By that, I mean someone who understands the MCR2 in a non-technical and practical way. And that someone needs to be in the UK so that I can phone and chat.
So any takers, please? You can email me direct if you prefer.
And please don't anyone tell me to junk the MCR2 and fit a solid state regulator. I like the MCR2, and I like the idea of riding around with vintage equipment with all its failings.
Re: MCR2 regulator expert wanted - must be in the UK
I've had a few very nice responses to my enquiry (direct to my email). Just wanted to say thanks to all via the forum, and I'll respond invidually. Cheers.
