Primary Inspection Cap again..

Hi All
Does anyone have a brass hex nut cap that would fit the smaller threaded hole of the post war primary cover? The current domed cap is 65-3364.
Bought a nice brass one this weekend only to find that it didnt fit. The outside diameter of the thread I need is 1-1/2 and not the 1-13/16 of the larger one.

Hi Richard...There is no brass plug for the post girder fork primary chain cases...All versions use the domed, diecast aluminium one...
The only thing with a hexagon on it, in that size (I think), is a pre unit Triumph rocker box cover and that is still die cast aluminium...

I reckon you will have to visit to a local machine shop to get something made up...Ian

Looks like there's one on that Triumph 3HW by "Dean the Bean" in a prior post.

You may have to buy the whole bike though!
