Re: Clutch Adapter

Hi Bob...Is that Kidderminster Motorcycles?...They sell the BSA/Triumph adapter modified for the earlier box...

With this adapter it's basically a 'straight fit' of the Triumph clutch to the M20 box as it solves the misalignment problem that occurs if you use a standard BSA/Triumph adapter.

Originally the adapter was made by BSA to fit the Triumph clutch to swinging arm models..

You will also need the appropriate washer and mainshaft nut....Ian

Re: Clutch Adapter

Why not install the wonderful "Gerrit Bruggink"-clutch? See http://thb-support.nl/webshop/index.php?cPath=38_25_47&sort=7a&language=en
Not cheap, but perfect

Re: Clutch Adapter

Bob OBrien
One of the vendors is selling an adaptor so that M20's can utilize a Triumph clutch. Has anyone done this, and what are the pro's/con's? Thanks, Bob

I fitted one of Kidderminsters 4 spring kits to my M33 Bob. I had just about torn out every hair on my head trying to get the BSA 6 spring clutch to work properly!! I must say, it is so much better, but I have a single spring clutch ready to fit to my M20..

Re: Clutch Adapter

The Kidderminster sounds like it's a big improvement over original. I will consider doing a retrofit in the future... Many thanks to the guys that responded. Bob O
