Attached the 7/8 handlebar on the girder to find out that the top clips fit perfectly, but the two bottom extended clamp are too narrow. Handlebar does not sit inside as it should. The bike has a Belgium Antwerp custom seal girder and I am guessing that it was a late forties model, is there any chance that this girder might have been from an earlier model?
