The booking on process for Normandy 2014 is now open, commencing here on the forum as of today......
You can e mail for the booking on forms which will be sent to you and can then be filled out on line and returned.....
Along with the booking form will come some additional information outlining further details...Please take the time to read and thoroughly understand this information before filling out and returning your entry form..
Also please note that the work involved in processing all this information, which is considerable, is all being done by a volunteer who has the rest of his life to run as well...
So, having made your initial enquiry, accept that it is in the system and will be responded to at the earliest opportunity...Please don't 'clog up the system' and create more work by prematurely sending follow up e mails..Just sit back and wait for the information...
The e mail address given has been set up specifically to deal with this work...
For your entry form e mail use shaef2014@gmail.com
I am not processing this information myself. However, if you have a query that needs clarification before you can complete the form and return it mail me at ian@wright52.plus.com for an answer....
Remember that booking on closes on the last day of March 2014...There will be no exceptions...
More generally, to cut down on the workload as the tour gets closer and to assist in planning the overall event I would request that entries are submitted as early as it is practical for you to do so...particularly if your entry includes an order for tour caps...
These have to be produced in advance of the event and that will become more difficult as we get closer to the 'off'.....Ian
Ferry booked today, sailing from Pool on the 31st, and like you Lee,really looking forward to it, we have to get into Pool early, will have to knock Ron up for an cup of tea
Hi Ian, I am from India n would like to participate in Normandy Rally. I have the most original Restored BSA M20 which I have shopped parts from all over UK and US to Restore it. Anyway, I would be happy if you are kind enough to send me Requisites for the event, rest I will sort it out....
I'm on the 08.30 Poole-Cherbourg ferry on Monday 2nd June, returning Sunday 8th June at 18.30.
The wife suggested I go on my own so she 'Doesn't have to look at any more museums or lumps of metal & concrete' so it'll be the best part of a week kipping in the back of the van and riding the bike. Nice!
Hi Lee,
My Mrs has the same feeling about France, I spent the last tour kipping in the van, I just hope we have the same type of weather, sunny every day done most of my cooking outside, this time I have a 9x9 tent, anyway looking forward to it, at the end of each days riding sitting out side sipping wine and going over what had been done that day
