if the air pipe exited on the right and was a bit straighter they would look like the air filter that sits where the right hand pannier is maybe they could be modified

And you have to be careful with regards to date of fitment (even if you do have the right one)...On the M20 for example they were only fitted right at the end of the war, just the last two contracts. So not in the period of the main battles in North Africa...Ian

They don't look at all military to me. They look like the sort of filter that fits below the dual seat around the battery area? Ron

SORRY about the miss spelling I'm dyslexic and Vokes is now in my spell checker Volks is something Germanic I think(,Volkswagen) Andrew.h.
