Re: Another pile of crap on e bay

Wonderful stuff! This is just typical of the way things are going now though. I can't believe that someone hasn't snapped it up!

Re: Another pile of crap on e bay

He may ask and write whatever he wants....can't blame fools of being foolish.
The one who pays the asking price would be the real idiot!

Re: Another pile of crap on e bay

"...Fills me with the urge to defecate" is the line from Pink Floyd that always springs to mind when looking at things like that.

I'm well impressed by the C15 tank with the Norton sticker on though. To my mind there is £250 worth of autojumble spares there and not much more.

Re: Another pile of crap on e bay

he says he can't kick it over, needs kicking under (about six feet) preferably.

Very appropriate sticker on the windscreen of that VW camper:

Re: Another pile of crap on e bay

is that an adjustable front mudguard stay, that must be one of those indian pattern jobbys.

Re: Another pile of crap on e bay

Those stays remind me of a rough old BSA A7 I bought (£40) back in the early 70s while my RGS was off the road for an engine rebuild...The front stays were made from Dexion shelving strips...Those have holes and slots but niether lined up correctly, so the owner had put a nice 'wave' shape in them to 'shorten' them to the right length.. ...Ian

Re: Another pile of crap on e bay

You should have kept it exactly as it was Ian, it seems like it would have been worth thousands now!

Re: Another pile of crap on e bay

And don't ask him any questions.
Did I hear someone say bad ass bar hopper?

Re: Another pile of crap on e bay

For this price,
Would he throw in a head or tail light,
Or may be some saddle cover, as with this felt,
The ba**s would get caught up where the saddle springs are missing…

Re: Another pile of crap on e bay

For that price I'd want him to throw in the van... ...Ian

Re: Another pile of crap on e bay

I just had another look at the ad, to see if something change,
And noticed that it is a classified ad,
And that reminded me of the song “Classified” of C.W. McCall.

It is about s Chevy pickup truck,
But the principle is the same…

Here is a link to one of the YouTubes of it:

Re: Another pile of crap on e bay

I get the sneeking feeling this project might not have been thought through fully at the design stage... ...Ian
