Levers

Below are the levers I had on my bike when I got it, other than the horn button is it worth salvaging any of these or is it a case of replace all?

Re: Levers

The top right lever is as far as I know original M20 for a late war bike. The valve lifter should do also once the chrome has been removed.

Re: Levers

As my bike`s paint etc is as original I would be just cleaning them up and putting them back on

Re: Levers

Did the brake and clutch levers have adjusters as standard?

Re: Levers

As Henk said! And just looking at your parts you might be able to use the bottom lever clamp with chrome removed and just add a solid lever. The air and mag levers could also be used by sourcing the parts to make a matched pair with the round knob, get everything cad or dull chrome plated and make up a set of late war levers as in this scan. Re: Levers

Brilliant sketch Ron, thank you.
Anyone know who does a half decent job with the dull chrome plating as I haven't seen allot of success with dull chroming.

Re: Levers

I've given up with trying to get dull plating done successfully. I'm going for Cadmium at the moment. Ron
