Speedo Smiths BG5330/247

Hi, yesterday evening I assembled the speedo gear to the front wheel. It doesn't seem to work. Is it the right one? Some tips thanks.

Some additional info/pictures would certainly help! make/type/year/model of bike for example??

Easy enough to see which way the output turns. You might have fitted an offside version.Or as usual the helical driven gear is stripped.

Sorry you are right, my mistake. It's a BSA WM20 1943. I saw in the Petersclassicparts site that it is said to fit to my bike and I bought it in ebay US. The speedo cable from Draganfly seems to be 2 or 3 mm (0.07" to 0.11") too short. I screwed it but it is really straight.
