I have a 276/014R carburettor. It came with a 1D or 1DB floatchamber (unclear to read). I guess this is not the right floatchamber to use on a BSA WM20. Is there anybody who can tell me what number floatchamber I need on this carburettor so I will be able to use it on my WM20.
Ramon the correct bowl is marked 1B but a 1D is the same bowl and also has a horizontal elbow to match the horizontal holes drilled on the brass stub below the bowl. A 1DB bowl also has the horizontal elbow and the holes drilled on the brass stub. Just be mindful that the 1DB comes in two configurations one is vertical which is what you are after and one is a 7 degree tilt on the bowl.
Hope this helps.
