Hello, I got stuck again while doing up the dynamo. My Matchless Dynamo needs complete overhaul.. Can someone please let me know the
1. Number of windings in the field coil?
2. Approx weight of the coil (This would help in finding the no of windings).
3. Gauge of the wire.

I can't answer your question but are you sure the field coil has failed?..Generally they are not the problem when a dynamo decides not to work..(though everything goes wrong eventually!)..Ian
