HF 1140

Would black be the correct colour while installed on a 1939 WM BSA? Just wondered if OD would be also seen.

I don't have any BSA VAOS LV7 listings but generally Lucas proprietary parts for WD vehicles are shown as 'Service Green' - this would be Khaki Green No.3 during the latter part of 1939.

The British didn't use 'olive drab' until they attempted to standardise with US equipment during 1944.

If it's a civilian WM20 then black would be normal.
