He everybody,

Besides windmills and wooden shoes we have another tradition in Holland.
It's called Sinterklaas (Saint Nicholas). We celebrate this on the 5th of december every year with presents. Just like Santa Claus with X-mas. The tradition goes back centuries.
Hope you'll like the picture. Maybe this pic has been posted earlier, before I joined this forum. But still, a nice pic.

Now we know how Zwarte Piet got his black face. He stood behind a Triumph as the Sint swung through. It's nothing to do with Moorish servants.

Not often you see a Vokes filter on a Triumph..or two characters like that!...I see he has his DR gloves on....Ian
