Hi was wondering if anyone knows where I can get the parts for the spring assembly minus the spring for my 1942 BSA M20. The bike came with them originally, but I can't seem to find them. They seem to be the hardest pieces to find. I've checked most of the major websites such as draganfly, russel motors, ebay, peters m20, V.O.F, NSA motorcycles, british only, and cornucopia. Any others would be great, or anyone thats looking to sell a few of the parts. The upper cone, the upper stop, the upper mount, the lower spike, and the spring bit.
EBay item 170947984956 finished yesterday it looked to have all the parts you needed, the spring was 2 coils shorter than wm20 & shot (collapsed) in the centre by looks as well. but a few questions to seller i think would've confirmed the mountings to be what you were looking for.
but its a good example of why eBay is worth keeping an eye on.
