Fabuolus, what a great job you've done! It looks wonderful Kostas, a credit to you. My Matchless looked like that once, now it's getting a bit 'lived in' and is starting to look more like your first photo! I must give it a wash and do some touching up next weekend.
Fantastic job Kostas I know you've spend a lot of time getting it exactly right, well done it looks great
I've just got to put the carb on mine and a few odds and ends, but I haven't touched it for ages. Life is throwing lots of crap at me right now, but it'll be ready for France next year
Great looking bike as well Mick, they're identical
I spotted this on ebay and wondered if it was anything you Norton chaps would be interested in? Item number 200830224419 I'm farily sure it's norton, but I'm probably wrong and it's not cheap.

Yes Bill it is one of the early WD Norton pannier tool box's (left side)
Absolutely magnificent Kostas. It really must be one of the very best surviving early Nortons.
Will we be seeing it in Normandy in 2014?
I continue to be intrigued by the small details that changed during 1940 - the long gear indicator for example. I'd always assumed they were a later introduction.
Have you thought about a series of close-up photographs so that we (I ) can further amuse myself ?
