Bike ID

This is a picture that was found by Indian Tim's wife's Grandmother. Can anyone identify the bike? .......Norton?? Ron

Hi Ron, nice picture! Norton for sure. It has a cradleframe and seems to have the checksprings on the fork so I would say a ES2 or CS1 from around 1934.

It's got a tin primary case so ES2 as CS1 are ally

It's got Norton hubs and the 1934 chaincase plus the silencer is still on the left which pretty well pins it down to 1934. The engine proportions look odd, or is it just the camera ?

I wonder if it's a 1934 350cc CJ (Camshaft Junior) ?

Based on numbers sold, an ES2 is the most likely option.
