Have a strange timing problem right now, on a Villiers JDL Welbike engine, all N.O.S. the timing is 180 degrees out! it only sparks when you time it on B.D.C. !!

Any ideas??

I'm going to bed now, maybe the cartoon will inspire me.

hi,just hear'd quasimodo has retired from notre dame cathedral.guess what he got,
a lump sum,all his back pay and a bottle of bells,cant be bad.

I have a Norton Dominator I built from parts. I could never get it to start, despite having a strong spark, and plenty of gas. I must have checked and reset the timing about a million times before it dawned on me to switch the spark plug wires. It started on the first kick after that.......

I fitted a fully rebuilt mag to my 16H and timed it perfectly. But nothing!!
I sat up in bed at 3am when I realized it was the wrong rotation mag Ron
