Spiders love my M20

When I eventually work on my M20 I will make many spiders homeless:

BSA WM20 WITH COBWEBS, BSA WM20 WITH COBWEBS

Re: Spiders love my M20

Where I live we have a saying that spiders only come to healthy houses...

I guess that's what Spidey's M20 would look like!

Re: Spiders love my M20

Only if the spiders have a red stripe on they shiny backs,
Or a white stripe .
Or no stripe.
The really nasty ones live in leaf debris and will find it too dry around an M20.

Wasps and case moths are a bigger problem as they seem to love to build a nest in the end of fuel line or oil lines or bolt holes or between cylinders.

Last year two days before going down the the All British rally I took the tank off the M20 in the morning to run the colour tune over it.
I replaced the tank the same afternoon,
The bike ran like a dream for about 3 hours then would not take full throttle.
From idle it would take off really well and run fine for about 10 minutes then agains start to miss.
When I had a chance to have a look at the carb there was red mud in the float bowl and remains of a wasp wrapped around the nylon filter in the banjo ( it wears a 626 )
