This is the church at Kuttekoven, the village next to where I live. For some reason the name always makes dutch-speaking visitors laugh. I don't know why. What's a 'kut' ?

Despite the Baedeker raids, Great Britain thankfully stayed off of the main continental tourist routes from 1940 - 1945. (We did have a surplus of American tourists though but they usually got a good thrashing at closing time !)
