it was mentioned on the forum recently about not being able to learn or take you test on older bikes it seemed the reason seems to be there is a minimum 53.6 BHP and over 595cc to gain the top licence therfore a lot of older bike will not comply and whether it would comply without indicaters or brake lights in some cases i dont know
