how to get anti-tamper pin out of speedo? ( speedometer )
Hi All,
I'm sure you are all familiar with the anti-tamper pin in the speedometer that holds the bezel in place. Anyone have a suggestion for removing same? Would a set of end-nipper type wire cutters do the trick? I'd like to preserve as much as possible of this one, because everything on my bike is so untouched from it's REME career. Any advice appreciated, as always.

No I don't think so. It's just an alloy disc with a rivet in the middle. There's no line to cut along. I suggested trimming the top of the disc off enough to undo the rim and Ron's idea was to drill out the rivet and keep the disc intact. You could then put it back in. Whatever's easiest really.
