Has someone some experiance with a petrol tank made in India? Please let me know. I consider to buy one.

i bought a tank from them for my m23, it was solid, strong and fitted ..so no complaints.

I asked a similar question a while back and the general reply was that the quality varies, but on the whole they seem OK. Some folks wouldn't touch them with a barge pole and they are not as good as the originals. The problem is that the originals are getting rare, but can you really tell once it's painted? Hardly a difinative answer I know

some models of the m23 , the '39 and '40 500 silver star used the same tank as the m24...
others used the slimmer tank with a profile more akin to the m20.
