I sanded the tank today and found a light green colour underneath - any ideas as to it's originality?

I thought I'd also uncovered a bit more history with the white under the green, but it only turned out to be filler from a previous repair. No C number either..

Lee, since the yellow colour seems to be on top of the filler, I'd guess it's just high build primer. It looks like the primer I sometimes use. Ron

I think Ron's right there. I used to use this high build primer all the time when I used to paint cars for a living, exactly the same colour.

That's a shame, I was hoping to discover a rare D-Day green or similar. Better luck next time.

Usually I just get Pride and Clarke Maroon!!
