shes finally getting there.... first start

started first kick! after 35 plus years

i only put fuel in the float bowel for now, once i get the tank on ect then i can adjust the carb
NOTE! the throttle cable snapped

Very nice. Makes me think back of the time I first started mij M20 after restauration; made me feel like dr Frankenstein creating a monster !

its a good feeling, the first start. makes all the hard work worth while.
when i got the bike a year ago there was lots of bits missing and thanks to all you chaps shes nearly there.
id love to get the bike to normandy and lots of other ww2 places but unfortunately i might have to let it go soon due to my 5th child on the way and times are very hard these days.
ill have to see how it goes for now...
