Great stuff Kalle! But how can you ride without being able to see the white line in the middle of the road and those ferocious wolves attacking you. Ron
I know that there is no white line only gravel and some grass growing.
And this wolf is very frendly to me because I feed her and scratch behind the ears later
The Swedish army supplied their bikes with ski's and spikey tyres, I have a set and used it a couple of times on my Matchless, but not enough snow in Holland to be worthwhile!
The Russians had something similar...and I've seen a BMW with skis attached...I guess any country with a lot of the white stuff was inclined to give it a go.. ....Ian
let's concentrate to the drawing, picture says more than thousand words
Kalle, that is exactly what I have! The bike is a Jawa engined Monark, as used in the Swedish army. But the book is Finnish? did they use the same bikes? Cheers, Lex
Lex, book is estonian and Jawa was common bike in our area in soviet time. But it can be artist's interpretation of ski equipped bike, or just copied picture.
horror on a tv program called top gear they made a crosscountry wheel chair using tracks from a tracked (wheel) barrow so it wouldnt be impossible to make one
