I've had the bore measured and it's on +40 at the moment and wondered if there were any suggestions on where to find a decent +60 piston?
Also, the valves could do with replacing and the engine guy (who comes very highly recommended) suggested trying to find a modern replacement valve, especially for the exhaust, as it should prove more reliable. He did suggest a brand, which I promptly forgot, and am guessing at Alfa? If not, any recommendations?

Hi Lee...I can supply a NOS +.060" piston...mail me off forum..Unless you are planning to do a lot of Motorway miles a 'standard' valve will do the job OK..though I would consider a hardened valve seat to reduce maintenance intervals. Not sure if I have any original valves left..I'll take a look. If not you can get replacements from C&D Autos...Ian
