Re: Bristol show

Hi John

Although I can't make the show, I put in a few absentee bids on the '47 Royal Enfield plus a few Honda's as the guide price seemed very good indeed. The RE had a guide of £400-600 and fetched £2645 - a bit out of my price range. But hey, I guess I can only ride one bike at a time.

Re: Bristol show

I wonder who bought the WD/C. Anybody we know? It's an interesting motorcycle: the engine comes from one of the very first WD/Cs. It's the oldest one in the register so far! (January 1940). I'd love to get in touch with the new owner!

Cheers,
Jan

Re: Bristol show

Yes I was there today. I went with a couple of friends who were more into the bikes than stalls. So it was a good day out.
I missed John Tinley, but saw his image on a magazine cover and two lovely girls aboard his model X outfit on a calender.
Two bikes that caught my attention. Ron

Re: Bristol show

I went today but did not see Ron. Geoff from Russell's had a stall and had quite a few NOS BSA M20 parts on hs stall. John

Re: Bristol show

I have 2 tickets & hate the thought of wasting them

I like the thought of checking some bikes out as dont need too much bsa or triumph stuff just now - lucky me :-D
