Ok I am restoring a M20 for a friend. I am to the wiring portion. Most of my experience is with Old triumphs. My question is...How do you kill the engine, there is no ground wire hook up to kill the magneto. Only thing I could think of is the advance retard cable will acheive this. Am I correct?

No Jared. The correct way is with the exhaust valve lifter (decompresser). There should be a lever near your clutch lever (not the adv/ret lever) connected by cable to a little trigger at the bottom of the barrel under the exhaust valve. Ron
