i just tried to fit the cylinder and i broke the oil scraper ring (what a cu#nt). i just had the cylinder re bored with a 23mm +40 piston, has any one got a ring or maybe a set whos local to heathrow, or if not where would be the best place to buy a set al though i need just one ring? the piston i got is a bsa new old stock from russell motors.

Barry. I did the very same thing, what a Wilfred, I ordered a set from Lightning spares. They are very good & fast to deliver, talk with Brian or Chris, they do hold them in stock.
