John, I really don't know, according to Jan these were appeared on 1940 Royal Enfield's catalogues! There was a thread about it... http://pub37.bravenet.com/forum/static/show.php?usernum=3155626639&frmid=16&msgid=1151433&cmd=show
The Lucas packaging is mid-1960s at a guess. Domi-Racer give mid-30s to mid-50s for OE fitment but whether Lucas changed anything over the years is very difficult to say. https://www.domiracer.com/Comersus/Store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=95073 As Kostas has indicated, these don't appear to have been fitted originally to Nortons. It would certainly look more 'period' than the round 1950s WD standardised switches that are still available NOS.
Kostas, I would like to buy it from you if it is still available. Cheers John
