It used to be a loader st the 50's.
sprockets used to be change to 16T (engine shaft and final) and carry over a 1, 1.5 ton!
This one converted with a bench, to drive people.
a front loader (2 wheels on front was also around)

how do you apply the foot brake with those big wooden foot boards in the way

Hi Roger,
This loader is equipped with a driveshaft and rear “Morris” axle, (usually)
So it has an hydraulic foot pump pedal which operates the original drum brakes on both rear wheels.

By the way, those huge wooden things weren’t originally there.
Someone did many changes to it.
Ugly changes, to my taste.
