3HW Vokes

Was there a special type of bolt needed to fit the Vokes brackets onto the tank of a 3HW? If not does anyone know the thread type/size?

Alistair it should look something like this. The side brackets are attached to the front mounting holes for
knee grips with 1/4" BSC bolts (1/4"BSF are the same).
