Anyone else got this problem? The stand rubs the paint off the brake drum plate when you operate it? I just wondered whether I had missed a spacer out?

Hi Andrew..The only thing that spaces the brake plate off the frame is the rear wheel adjustment cam.
However, the stand does operate very close to the brakeplate. A slightly distorted brake plate, stand or anything that prevents the plate sitting absolutely square can cause the problem...many M20s are like that...Ian

Does anyone have the thickness of an original cam, I'm suffering the same affliction :(
