Sorry missed the trip laid low with food poisoning , bug I brought back from INDIA, not bad today, but not good friday,Miss the crack, but will See you all at hop farm JULY, ANDREW H
It was good to see that the Norton got sorted Bram.
The weather was a bit mixed but Friday and Saturday were dry.
Fortunately there was a reasonable number of WD bikes around, because with the exception of a couple of British-marked jeeps and a Dingo, one could have thought that Gold, Sword and Juno were all US 101st Airborne landings judging by the amount of French re-enactors swanning around in jeeps with one knee sticking out (just to annoy Rob vdB)
The trip had its solemn moments. I hope that someone will later post photos of the tribute to Donald Fife.
This is the 4th/7th Dragoon Guards Memorial at Creully
Our lunches were informal (and usually late). This is the top of 'Hillman' bunker.
