I am not one to give undue praise to suppliers but I have recently purchased the stencils fo my Model X petrol tank from Paul Anderson of Noosta Direct. His service was excellent and he comes highly recommended from me if you are looking for stencils for your "C" number on the tank. He has a website at www.noostadirect.com or email sales@noostadirect.com. Cheers John
In the past I have used "Classic transfers" but they always seemed a bit reluctant to make them. This is one of their's and they work very well.
But just recently I have been talking to a gravestone manufacturer , who makes rubberised stencils for masking marble, I gather the stone is then sand blasted, these pictures are of a sample he gave me (I think I might have "NO PARKING" put on my gravestone ), but he will only use currently available fonts, and I'm yet to discover if he has something suitable.
I have also had some nice results from 'Classic Transfers' But I fear Robert has serious health issues. But these are great and specialise in military stencils. www.axholmesigns.co.uk/ -
I have had many stencils made from Axholme signs and I can recommend them also. They even made a scale set of jeep stencils for my sons Triang pedal car Jeep.
