Magneto for Matchless G3L ?

Hello,

I have this Magneto (BTH M.I) and I am wondering if I could use this on my 1942 Matchless G3L?
Please do take a look at the pics and let me know your thoughts

As long as the height of it doesn't interfere with the carby and the base height is close enough.And the securing holes line up with the steel holder.Is there an arrow for direction of rotation.

The critical thing is that the deck to sprocket centre will need to be the same as an N1. Regards, John

Pratap, I'm in the Algerian Sahara at the moment and should be home in 4 weeks time, I can get you a fully refurbished magneto for the G3L if you are interested. How is your 3T doing? I should be done with the G3LS that I was restoring when I'm back. Drop in again sometime, it was great having you and your bro over the last time. Maybe we can go riding someplace-if the weather is OK that is!
