On several occasions I have bought some of those small 6V pilot bulbs.
This morning I had to replace one, and when I tried to pull it out, the glass bulb came loose of the bayonet fitting.
No problem, I took one out of the reserve, and THE BULB CAME LOOSE...
In fact, all four had loose bulbs and could not be fitted. Is this something that can be cured with some kind of solvent or heat-resistant glue?

I've had the same problem with NOS headlamp bulbs...and I bought quite a few. I had to stop selling them as even a slight amount of pressure tended to make them seperate
