I read from this post that the headlight clamps for M20 headlamps are as follows.
"7/16" tube (11mm with some heavy coats of paint will do). They are all about 3.25" long.(82.5-83mm").
I measured my headlamp and it is 7 inches. So I am wondering if this is the same measurement I must take into account.
The standard DU42 headlamp on an M20 is about 6 3/4" diameter at the rim. Those bracket sizes are correct for that headlamp. You might have to make them slightly longer if you were fitting the early pattern 8" lamp. Ron
I wouldn't know Henri. Mine is only 6 3/4". Henk has a bigger one of 8"
Henk has used the same brackets but I'm sure someone said they have different part numbers?
Sorry my memory failed me, they are straight, just bent differently. This is from an early one, with its original 8" and balloon tank and contract plate on the rear fender.
The lower ones are straight as well no bends anywhere.
