Merstham is just down the road from where I used to live and coincidentally my Dad was Royal Signals and did a stint at Redhill, billeted at Merstham during 1943 / 1944. A good excuse to ask him some questions.
Hi John, I'm not sure there was a handbook for S5209, by this time the "Drivers Handbook" "Book No.100/BC2 Air Publication 1657B, Vol 1 Part 1" had become the standard handbook. but I could be wrong.
I have one for contract C6126 which is marked 'instruction book', also has the oil conversion chart glued inside and has engine and frame nos. on the front cover...Ian

engine and frame # WM20-18001 to WM20 21000 has lubrication chart stuck inside the front cover written in ink acrossed the top of the front page is an army # 45566791 no name
