Came across this picture again in my files, and was wondering if there was anything more known about it??

The engine unit and wheels were stored inside the container when dropped from the plane, have another photo somewhere, will post it later.

Hi lex, if thats a villers 9d, with side carb, I have an engine like that with twin exhaust ports just as used in the james ml but with this side mounted carb,by the way never seen one these other than in a photo, a.h.

Andrew, it's not a 9D engine I think, have an engine here with the same cooling shroud, and it has no gearbox or anything attached.

Here's the other picture, you can see the stowed "thing" on the right.



Maybe this was made by SS cars too??
