I well remember in one of Vince`s Geography lessons in Classroom 35 or 33 a boy probably Forrest putting his hand up to ask if he could go to the toilet. Being the boy in question we all cottoned on to the ruse so 1 by 1 we all put our hands up to go to the toilet . Vince let us all go but on our return he got his revenge. All who went to the "Bogs" had to stand up in front of the class and view his face and spit at close quarters. After a good telling off I think we were let off with "lines"
This incident always comes into my mind when I occasionally get caught short.!

I'm sure that the toilets at the old school didn't have bolts on the doors, or had they all just been broken off. Certainly you had to sit with foot jammed against the door to maintain a semblance of privacy.
