Keighley Grammar School

My grandfather attended the first Keighley Grammar School in about 1845-1851. By 1851 he was 11 years of age and working in a mill as a weaver. If anyone has any information about this school, I would like to hear about it.

Are you sure you got the dates right?
It means your grandfather was born in 1840, which is 165 years ago?

(sorry if this seems a bit rude, but I was just wondering about the enormous gap in years)
